Re: Sat Nav MMI not working – 13-07-2018, 09:22 AM. I had that problem yesterday. I had fixed a fault with my mmi system but satnav showed me as 30 miles away. You can either have a look and see in the settings if you are in demo mode or like my problem have a look at the back of the dvd drive in the boot. A6 / S6 (C6 Platform) Discussion - MMI Screen scrambled - I have a 2006 A6 Avant. My MMI screen comes on but only shows a cloudy white screen or a screen with orange or white lines on it. At first the problem was intermittent, but it has not worked properly in about a month now. All the funcations work perfectly.

I recently bought an Audi A6 which came with a 6 cd changer, bose sound system and sat nav. I guess the interface is MMI 2g. I tried inserting a MP3 cd into the 6 cd changer and it is identified as a CD-ROM but greyed out. I read somewhere online that in late 2006 some cars got MP3 changers which can be enabled by software update.
