In Dragon Age: Inquisition, there are three possible specializations for warriors: Champion, Reaver, and Templar. Champions specialize at protecting their teammates and absorbing large amounts of damage. Reavers will be similar to Dragon Age 1 and 2 – warriors that are adept at dealing large amounts of damage through hurting themselves. These 3 mods allow you to play any combo of skills, utilities and items you ever wished to. Want to play a Greatsword wielding Rift Mage archer? Sure. Undead Summoning Shield and Dagger Tempest? Sure. Staff wielding spell slinging tank? Sure. Stealth using Templar Knight Enchanter with Sword and Dagger? Sure.
At first I hated it. It's not the easiest specialization. Hated it so much I stopped and leveled up an assassin. But as I played assassin, I missed the battlefield awareness I needed as a Necro. You can easily get overwhelmed as a Necro, and what you pair with your specialization seems to matter more as a necro.
